The company was founded in 1823 in the surroundings of Lyon, a center of the silk industry since the Renaissance.
The wire drawing activity grows during the 19th century. Beginning of the 20th century, the company expands in the sector of electrical conductors, and enters the Airbus programs in the 1970s.
In 2001 FSP-one joined the Thermo Technologies group.
